Crista Ulteig, M.D.

I have been a patience of this Gastro Pratice since Dr. Marisa Kesselman days. She always provided exceptional patience care. She was attentive and always took time with her patience. I started seeing her for other issues and continued until I turned 40 and she did my first colonoscopy. When she retired and I had the esteem pleasure of being in the care of Dr. Taryn Silverstein, who was just as phenomenal. It's been five years and time for my colonoscopy. Even though I've moved, 68 miles away my plans are to continue my care with this group. I was disappointed when I called to schedule my appointment to know Dr. Silverstein was retiring and only consulting. Dr. Crista Ulteig was a delight and after my appointment with her, my mind was at ease. She was very pleasant, easy to talk to, listened and very informative. I feel blessed to be in her care. Wishing Dr. Taryn Silverstein all the best and many blessings in her retirement. Thanks for years of outstanding care! I'm looking forward to another phenomenal doctor/patient relationship. 💙

She's the best, she really knows how to make her patience very comfortable, she has a great sense of humor to me. She's just a normal person not just a doctor I haven't met her too many times just doing my colonoscopy. And appointments at the office, but I highly recommend Crista. She's awesome number one.

Dr. Ulteig is the best! She is very personable, kind and considerate. Very giving of her time without rushing. Very thorough and explains things well. She is proactive and informative.

Excellent caring dedicated doctor

Great doctor with excellent care and professionalism. Unfortunately, the office staff leaves a lot to be desired. It is very difficult to reach the office because there are multiple phone numbers, and getting a return call is extremely difficult. Communication between departments appears to be poor, and it often seems that one department is unaware of what another department is doing. The referral and scheduling process needs significant improvement. Calls are not consistently returned, follow through on requests are unreliable, and getting tests or appointments scheduled can be extremely frustrating. Better communication and coordination between the office staff would greatly improve the overall experience for the patients.

Dr.Ultieg was friendly, easy to talk to and knowledgeable of the concerns I have. She gave me choices and the reasons for each. She made me feel less stressed going forward with this procedure.

Very friendly staff. I was greeted warmly and taken from the waiting room to a patient room at my scheduled time and waited a very short time for Dr. Ulteig to see me. She was very pleasant and extremely professional. I'm glad she will continue to see to my gastrointestinal care.
